Pathway Support Staff
Pathway Coach
Oakland High School has a full-time Linked Learning Pathway Coach, Tiffany Holliday.
Ms. Holliday comes to this work with an extensive background in and passion for Linked Learning. She spent five years as an English teacher in the Health Academy at Pinole Valley High School (WCCUSD) and as the lead/director for that academy for 4 of those years. Ms. Holliday was also an internal coach for the other 4 academies at PVHS in 2014-2015. She is a certified ConnectEd Pathway Coach, and holds a certificate in Linked Learning from San Diego State University.
Within her work as a pathway lead, her areas of expertise were around integrated curriculum/projects, and performance tasks, including creating new and unique ways to connect work-based learning experiences back to the classroom. While a teacher, it was the coaching and pathway lead aspects that excited her the most but was unable to give her full attention to those duties due to the day-to-day demands of teaching. In this role with OUSD, she is thrilled to be able to focus her work on her passion, and to be able to impact the community in which she lives.
